Madalynn & Leslie Ann, Ann Catherine Williams & her husband Perry and
their son Jordan, Amy Haydon and her husband Joel and their daughters Mamie
Cate and Caroline, and their dog Buddy. Tom B, recently deceased, is survived
by his wife Anne. She remains living on the ranch in Parker County in
Weatherford, Texas and are a 4th generation ranching family. Their
son, Thomas, is now operating the ranch as the 5th generation. Tom
B. Saunders the first was the first cattle broker in the Fort Worth Stockyards,
and has a park in the Stockyards named for him, which is located under and
behind Exchange Street. All of Tom and Ann’s children remain involved in
Saunder’s Ranch in some way, and maintain a proud family tradition that has
become a valued part of Fort Worth culture. The grandkids are following also in
their parents footsteps in ranching and agriculture. The Saunders family is
avidly involved in the Doss Heritage Center in Weatherford, Texas. Tom B.
started the Log Cabin project, that maintains log cabins in the Heritage Center
that represents the original founding of Parker County and help modern day Fort
Worth visitors learn about our area’s heritage.
